u6 is a 10U chassis high density universal OLT which can support both GPON and EPON applications, it is designed using advanced ASIC chip technology. One OLT card in u6 can support up to 16 PON (GPON or EPON) ports, single chassis can support up to 224 PON ports and can manage up to 28672 remote ONUs. Besides the 14 universal PON slots, it supports multiple 1 plus 1 redundancy pair slots including two Switching & Controller slots, two Uplink slots with dual-power supply, which enhances the system reliability and stability for seamless operation.
u6 is fully compliant with related ITU-T and IEEE standards and is compatible to work with different types of multivendor ONUs available in the market. It is based on the mature and robust OS software platform developed which has high reliability and stability. u6 supports network management via CLI and SNMP, with an easy to operate GUI.
